From my point of view, students should have summer holidays, they are deserving of their holidays because they have worked very hard during the rest of the year, the have to take a rest.
First of all, if students have a period of time without exams, projects... they won't be so stressed and they will yield more when they return to school.
There should be summer holidays because of it is too hot in this season and with that temperature students don't feel like studying. Students also need those holidays to have more free time and to practise these activities that they like, that is, to enjoy the only months of the year that they don't have to study.
To conclude, students should have summer holidays to change the daily monotony and to recover from the previous year, and start the next course with a lot of energy.
